The Biz of Screenwriting 2 contest is judged by two different sets of judges — Top Producers and ProSeries Alumni approved writers.
PRODUCER JUDGES
Gary W. Goldstein: Gary is the President of The Goldstein Company. He has produced many movies, including Pretty Woman, Under Siege, and The Mothman Prophecies.
His films have generated over a billion dollars in worldwide revenue, and received numerous Academy Award nominations.
Derek Hoffman: Derek is a producer for the Donner’s Company. He has co- and assistant-produced for Superman 2, 16 Blocks, and Timeline.
Steve Shin: Steve recently moved to DeLine Productions, which has made The Stepford Wives and The Italian Job, and co-produced Fiasco Heights himself.
Sammy Montana: Sammy is a VP, Development and Production Executive for Trancas International Films. He has been involved in Halloween, Halloween: The Shape of Horror, and Street Boss.
Matthew Cohen: Matthew, creative director of Temple Hill Entertainment, has worked on Iron Man, Angels & Demons, and Minority Report.
Jonathan Oakes: Jon has co-produced History’s Mysteries - The Bible Code: Predicting Armageddon and From Grasshopper to Caine: The Making of ‘Kung Fu’. Jon works as a creative executive for Bold Films.
PROSERIES ALUMNI
More than 20 PS Alumni writers have volunteered to be judges for the contest. They will judge levels 1 - 4. Each of them have been through the ProSeries, Advanced Writing Assignments class, and the Quality Elevation Program. Many of them are optioned or produced screenwriters.
